START WITH THE ROOM

What is a wedding seating chart?

A seating chart turns a list of names into a clear picture of the celebration. See who sits where, how the tables flow, and what your guests, venue, caterer, and planner need to know — all in one calm workspace.

  • Plan reception tables or ceremony rows
  • Keep allergies, plus-ones, and notes close
  • Export a polished plan in any size

A SIMPLE WAY THROUGH

From guest list
to good evening.

Start with a template or a blank DIY canvas. The progress rail keeps the next useful step in view.

01

Bring in your guests

Paste a simple list or add names one by one, then keep a helpful note with each person.

02

Choose your starting point

Pick a reception or ceremony template, or open a blank canvas and build the layout yourself.

03

Create your tables

Add round or long tables, name them, and set the capacity before you start assigning seats.

04

Drag until it feels right

Move tables, guests, and DIY details around the canvas until the layout works for real people.

05

Finalize the details

Sort guests alphabetically for quick check-in, then prepare clean versions for your planner and caterer.

06

Export your day-of pack

Download PNG files or print or save PDF files for your welcome sign, seating display board, place cards, and table numbers.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Good to know.

Still curious? Say hello ↗

Do I need to create an account?

No. Your plan saves automatically in this browser, and you can export it or copy a view-only link without an account. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove a local plan.

Can I import my guest list?

Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file, paste rows, or add guests one at a time. The current importer uses the first two columns for a guest name and note; plus-ones and dietary notes can be edited in the workspace.

What can I export?

Download a PNG image or editable SVG, or open the print dialog to print or save your seating plan as a PDF. Each export includes the seating chart and guest list.

Is this only for weddings?

Wedding seating is our first love, but the same tools work beautifully for rehearsal dinners, showers, galas, and any gathering with a room full of people.
